Print, fax, or scan at the library

Due to Covid-19 printing at branches will be unavailable in person. Please use the PrinterOn app or one of the services below to submit a print, then schedule for a curbside pickup.
Library Document Stations (scan, email, fax)
- Library Document Stations allow you to scan documents free of charge.
- Scan your documents in the format and quality you want. The stations have some basic editing capabilities such as cropping or rotating
- You can fax, email, save to a USB drive, save to Google Drive (be sure to enable 3rd party access on your settings), or upload to your smart phone with a QR code reader app
- You may also print these documents by following the instructions below for printing
- Ask for assistance at any Reference Desk if you need help scanning
Printing from our computers

- You can print 50 free convenience copies per month per customer from any library computer.
- When you click on the print button on a document or web page, you may be prompted to enter a library card number or document name (you will need to remember this). If you are signed into an internet computer, your library card number will automatically become your document name
- To easily print an email attachment, forward the email to one of the following addresses:
- Downtown: dtprinters@printspots.com

- Indian Trail: itprinters@printspots.com
- Northtown Mall: shprinters@printspots.com

Printing from your own computer
To print from your own computer or email, follow the links below:
- Customer get 50 free convenience prints per month, tied to their library card number.
- Enter your email address and then locate the document you want to print on your computer. Click the Print icon and your document will be transferred
- To print an email attachment, follow the link that says “How do I print from a mobile device?”
- When you are ready to print, make an appointment for curbside pickup
- Ask for assistance at any Reference Desk if you need help printing
Printing from a mobile device
- Download the PrinterOn app for your device
- Open the app and locate the documents, photos, or web pages you want to print
- Select a library printer near your location. You can save this printer for future use
- Enter your email address and click OK. You will get a notification when your file has transferred
- As an alternative to downloading the app, print an email attachment by forwarding the email to one of the following addresses:
