Born in Singapore, Geetha trained as a computer engineer in networks and security, after completing her BSc in computer science, despite her innate inclination for the arts. After travelling in Australasia, she moved to England and Europe, where she operated her professional practice as an IT Consultant and Project Manager, while also pursuing her interest in the visual arts. Her works have been selected and featured in international exhibitions in the US and Europe, including the Ceramics Annual of America in San Francisco, the Florence Biennial in Italy and the Tokyo International Art Fair.

Before relocating to the US, Geetha ran a successful ceramic arts studio in the Cayman Islands for two years, teaching wheel throwing and hand-building to all ages. Her creations have been in several exhibitions at the Cayman National Gallery.

The influence of her technical background on her ceramic designs, her hybrid origin in Singapore with Chinese and Indian parents and her travel adventures from Asia to Europe and the US have inspired her creations; hence, Ceramic Fusions was founded in 2011 after several exhibitions of her ceramic sculptures and jewellery during her final year at the University of Essex.
